My professional email signature says I’m a product owner helping a century-old financial institution navigate through digital transformation.
Previously I was the user experience researcher, design strategist, and project leader at a small UX and product design agency where I helped establish and mature the research practice.
Prior to that I was a research manager at an IT industry analyst, advisory, and consulting firm where I specialized in technology roadmapping and project portfolio management, helping IT leaders define and improve their processes.
In 2010 I wrote a book about pragmatic approaches to dealing with uncertainty and technology-enabled change.
Outside of work and family life I still try to write occasionally about continuous discovery, facilitating collaborative decisions, and articulating the relationship between research, analysis, and creativity.
