About
Brian is a creative journeyman, thinker, and
writer.
Check out Truth, Will & Relevance: Essays for a Generative Age, a small but ambitious book that develops a new model of human motivation and creativity, dipping into metaphysics along the way, while staying grounded by the demands of real social and economic challenges.
Based in London Ontario Canada, Brian is a member of the city’s open government movement, blogger, event co-organizer & volunteer, and an occasional speaker on learning and creativity.
He plays bass guitar and dabbles in the six strings; his idea of exercise includes air drumming and going on long walks (not at the same time).* Stereotypically middle-brow and pseudo-intellectual, Brian will tell you he likes watching Charlie Rose and The Wire — and is deeply uncomfortable writing this without resorting to irony.
