Just thought of the responses I *should* have given Greg and Will yesterday instead of sort of addressing everyone at once… would’ve gone something like this:

Greg: didn’t you see David Fleet’s presentation? Nobody is invisible online.

Phronk: I laughed to myself a couple of times looking at the old media photo: that’s what covering real news does to people — turns them into serious hard-asses.

I had my doubts about Apture too after my first couple of posts with it. I wish I could non-Apture some Wikipedia links sometimes, but something like this wouldn’t even be possible without it.

I’m going to take this opportunity to mention I prefer LoSoMeMo now. Sounds better — and “mob” is less loaded than “mafia.”

Erica: Giggles is what it’s all about (as well as chuckles, chortles, and huhahs — doesn’t matter as long as the LOLs are real).

Those media types do look very menacing. I was menaced. And I don’t think anyone will ever figure out Titus Ferguson’s real identity. He’s all aliases wrapped in avatars.

LoSoMeMa is such a pretty-sounding word for such a dangerous group of people.

P.S. This made me real-LOL (as opposed to the fake LOLing that Karolijn is cracking down on).

P.P.S. I thought that Apture thing would be annoying, but it’s pretty cool when used right, like here.
